A job last week with British department store Selfridges took me to Manchester, where I worked with the perfume brand Maison Francis Kurkdjian. We hosted a scent-testing and watercolor workshop alongside their team, and it was such a joy to be part of. Manchester has an incredible energy—the architecture is stunning, and the people are SO friendly. Honestly it's so lovely.

I also carved out some much-needed time for a little playdate with my son, Pippin, and a local friend. Balancing work and single motherhood means these moments can sometimes slip away, so I’ve now set Fridays aside as dedicated time with him—something I’m really looking forward to.

On the foodie front, I was kindly sent a subscription-based, single-source olive oil to try, and I love the concept and it's a really generous amount. £15 a month and its supporting small farmers. Enjoying some sourdough on my Berkshire Design plate.

As for what I wore to the event in Manchester:
And in full transparency—TMI alert—I came down with the norovirus, so the rest of the week was quiet. I felt beyond !

On a brighter note, I’ve been enjoying sketching more of my TATA character lately. I love that expression: Be confident—act it, and you will become it.
See you next week Tatiana xx
